Kadooğlu Holding repeated this year as well its tradition regarding April 23rd. On the 23rd of April, it left the stand to our children as those to govern and manage our future. 
Hacı Kemal Kadooğlu Secondary School students visited Kadooğlu Holding on the occasion of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, accompanied by the School Principal Ekrem Kavak and their teachers. Kadooğlu Holding executives and managers left and transferred their positions symbolically to students of Hacı Kemal Kadooğlu on occasion of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.

Students visiting Kadooğlu Holding building at Gaziantep took on transfer of their seats from Kadooğlu Holding Board of Directors Deputy Chairman Celal Kadooğlu and department managers and assumed the management on the 23rd of April. Thus, students taking on transfer of the executive seats of Kadooğlu Holding, one of Turkey’s leading, well-established organizations, practiced a diverse experience.

Executive position was occupied by Elif Burcu Yıldız
On occasion of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, Hacı Kemal Kadooğlu Secondary School student Elif Burcu Yıldız became Kadooğlu Holding Board of Directors Deputy Chairman.
Kadooğlu Holding Board of Directors Deputy Chairman Celal Kadooğlu, transferring his seat to Hacı Kemal Kadooğlu Secondary School student Elif Burcu Yıldız gave information on April 23rd about the routine operations to Elif Burcu Yıldız taking over the management. Elif Burcu Yıldız adopting the position of Kadooğlu Holding Board of Directors Deputy Chairman, later held a meeting with the directors and managers, receiving information from the officials. Yıldız posed questions in the course of such meeting to the unit managers concerning certain operations.

‘’Prefer a profession that you would be involved with lovingly’’
Celal Kadooğlu chatted for a while with the student Elif Burcu Yıldız whom he transferred and delivered the seat of his position, asked which profession she would be choosing in future and gave certain advices, Telling the students to be rightful and equitable, further emphasizing that they should be individuals loyal to both the society and their families, Kadooğlu added “Choice of profession is a very important decision that would be orienting the rest of your lives. While making such a choice, individuals are required to assess their respective skills and tendencies at very early ages and be very well-acquainted with the features and characteristics of the selected profession. Therefore it is of particular essence to make very careful and sound decisions and prefer a profession that you would be doing with affection”.

School Principal Ekrem Kavak thanked Kadooğlu Holding hosting them in the best possible manner in this visit realized on  occasion of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day. Principal Kavak said “We have thus had the occasion of sharing such Professional data and particulars provided by Kadooğlu Holding to Hacı Kemal Kadooğlu Secondary School students which could highlight and enlighten them in their future profession selections, getting to know the occupational areas under our responsibility”.
Students leaving the Holding building, first of all visited Kadooğlu Oil Factory. Students had lunch together with Kadooğlu Oil General Coordinator the accompanying team, and thereafter various gifts were presented to them.

April 23rd Visit of the Students to Kadoil

Next stop of the students was Emek Station, one of Kadoil’s more than 500 stations throughout Turkey. 

Hacı Kemal Kadooğlu Secondary School, accompanied by the School Principal Ekrem Kavak and their teachers, visited on occasion of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, at his office Veli Kadooğlu as Authorized Official of  Kadoil Emek Station located at Gaziantep and Kadooğlu Otelcilik Board of Directors Member.

Hacı Kemal Kadooğlu Secondary School students, school principal and teachers came together at the office of Veli Kadooğlu. Kadooğlu chatted a while with the students taking on transfer of his office in a representative manner on grounds of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day and listened to the requests of the students.

Kadoil shall be ongoing with its support on education

Veli Kadooğlu, celebrating April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day of all children as expressed as, “To ensure that our children as security for our future are equipped with self confidence and are brought up in a better ambient as individuals useful to our country and nation, to enable them have better educational facilities and possess social liability awareness, we should exert any and all reasonable effort.’’

Kadooğlu, providing information to the students about the station, had commemorative pictures taken with the students.

Kadooğlu Holding is ongoing to provide support to education and training and thereby contributing to the students stepping ahead to a successful future.

Under scope of such campaigns titled “You Too Put One Brick” and “One School One Thousand Futures” conducted at Hacı Kemal Secondary School Gaziantep, it was constructed in parallel to Kadooğlu Holding’s liability towards support to training and handed over to the Ministry of National Education in 2013. In the school with 33 classrooms in total, possesses further facilities such as conference halls, laboratories, computer classes and other similar social premises.

 

 

Kadoil, which is part of Kadooğlu Holding and operates in the fuel distribution sector with its 550 dealerships, is carrying out a joint sapling campaign with the Ege Orman Vakfı (Aegean Forest Foundation) to reforest the region after the forest fires in İzmir.

It distributes saplings from its stations in İzmir in line with the sapling donation campaign launched with the support of the Ege Orman Vakfı (Aegean Forest Foundation) for the reforestation of the region after the forest fires that broke out and spread over a large area in Karabağlar region of İzmir. Kadoil has also started working on a memorial forest with its name in the burned area in İzmir.

Kadoil wants to erase the traces of the fire in İzmir with its “Bir Fidan Bir Nefes” (One Sapling Thousand Breaths) campaign, and at the same time, it tries to create awareness among its customers about the causes of forest fires. Customers who came to Kadoil to purchase fuel received the “Nature-Friendly Certificate” prepared by the Ege Orman Vakfı (Aegean Forest Foundation) after receiving the saplings distributed by the station officials.
Mehmet Atasoy, one of the Aegean Region Managers, who led the “Bir Fidan Bir Nefes” (One Sapling Thousand Breaths) campaign, stated that he was pleased with the intense interest in the campaign and said ”While I was thinking about what I can do after this fire as a citizen residing in İzmir, I was glad that my company, which I worked under its brand, acted with such a social responsibility awareness”.

Great Interest in the Campaign

Kadoil Corporate Communication & Marketing Coordinator Uyum Varol evaluated the campaign carried out with the Ege Orman Vakfı (Aegean Forest Foundation), underlined that Kadoil, established with 100% domestic capital, is sensitive to all positive and negative events in the country, drew attention to the fact that everyone should be more sensitive in forest losses that will take many years to recover. Varol also said, ‘’We watched in despair our losses in the forest fires in İzmir’s Karabağlar region.

Thousands of trees and many living things regrettably lost their lives in the fires. Our losses will not come back, but thanks to the Kadoil family and those who chose us, we have taken steps to replace these losses and prevent such a disaster again.’’ Uyum Varol stated that they are very pleased with the interest generated by the campaign and said ”We receive messages and calls on social media and to our headquarters every day, and we are waiting for all our sensitive citizens to our stations for a better future.”

Kadoil while successfully maintaining its rise in the fuel and LPG sector with 550 dealerships, continues the social responsibility projects that it carries out to create awareness for a life without disabilities in society. The biggest supporters of the Şehitkamil Amputee Football Team, which Kadoil has been sponsoring for many years, are the employees.


Gaziantep Şehitkamil Disability Sports Club, which continues competing with its green and white colors in the Amputee Super League, was in Istanbul for the game against the Istanbul Disability Sports Club. Before the game, we came together with Kadoil Corporate Communications & Marketing Coordinator Uyum Varol Kebabcı and Amputee Football Club President Şükrü İnal.
In the third week of the Amputee Football League, Istanbul Disability Sports Club and Şehitkamil Disability Sports Club met in Bakırköy on Saturday, December 9. The winner of the game, where Şehitkamil Disability Club was a guest, was the Istanbul Disability Club.


Before the match, Şehitkamil Amputee Sports Club President Şükrü İnal stated that they continue to fight with all their might with the goal they set at the beginning of the season. Şükrü İnal stated that the most important force behind their successful season and going up from the 1st League to the Super League is the support of Kadooğlu Holding, by thanking all the holding management and Kadoil employees; he congratulated the Corporate Communication& Marketing Coordinator Uyum Varol Kebabcı for her support for sports and athletes.
Kadoil Corporate Communication & Marketing Coordinator Uyum Varol Kebabcı underlined that as Kadooğlu Holding, they are trying to raise awareness in many areas within the scope of social responsibility projects. Varol said ”We are proud of the support we give to the Şehitkamil Amputee Football team, it is the conscientious duty of large companies like us, as well as everyone individually, to be with disabled people in all areas of life, to walk with them, to ensure their integration into social life.” Varol also emphasized that the municipalities and the national press should give more support to the amputee teams and broadcast the matches more to attract the attention of the public.


Amputee Football:

Amputee football is a type of football played by athletes who do not have a leg using forearm crutches. Amputee football started under the leadership of veterans after World War II. Championships are getting organized for amputee football in the world and Europe since 1998. In our country, Amputee Football started in the 1990s to rehabilitate veterans in our army.
Şehitkamil Amputee Football Team;
Şehitkamil Amputee Football Team was founded in Gaziantep in 2012 with its means to rehabilitate our veterans and then strengthened with financial and moral support under the sponsorship of Kadooğlu Holding. Şehitkamil Amputee Team is currently competing with 3 veterans, 4 congenitally disabled, 3 foreigners, and 4 child players.

Kadoil supports the environment, education, culture and arts, and sports with its social responsibility and sponsorship projects.
Kadoil ran for the future of children with TOÇEV at the 39th Istanbul Marathon held last weekend with the theme ”Run for the Children” in cooperation with TOÇEV.
Kadoil employees, acting with the awareness of corporate social responsibility, voluntarily ran for TOÇEV in the 39th Istanbul Marathon with all their energies. Kadoil employees, who sweat in the marathon for the benefit of TOÇEV, which changed the lives of children with the slogan “Education is the right of every child” for 23 years, contributed to raising awareness to support children’s education.
